ComputerLogic has introduced an updated version of PMCLogic, its fully automated paint and materials management platform for collision repair businesses.
The refreshed system has been designed to make day-to-day processes easier to manage, while giving repairers clearer oversight of paint and materials usage, documentation and billing.
The latest release includes a more streamlined interface, improved navigation, stronger sorting functions and a workflow structure that is easier to follow.
ComputerLogic says these changes will help users find key information more quickly, make decisions with greater confidence and apply paint and materials billing practices more consistently across the business.
The company noted that profitability in this area depends on reliable processes, accurate information and consistent record keeping. Without the right systems in place, repair facilities may struggle to identify missed opportunities or maintain the same standards across every job file.
Rick Palmer, President of ComputerLogic, said paint and materials remains one of the industry’s most frequently overlooked profit areas. He said high-performing facilities are typically those that rely on repeatable procedures, detailed records and tools that create accountability throughout the repair process. The aim of the update, he added, was to make these practices simpler to apply and manage.
PMCLogic allows repairers to customise workflows, reporting methods, billing rules and insurer-specific profiles to suit their own operational needs. This flexibility is intended to help businesses create more uniform repair files while supporting the accurate recovery of valid paint and materials costs.
ComputerLogic said the platform can deliver operational and financial gains by improving documentation, increasing consistency and reducing the need for manual file reviews. By helping teams identify areas that require attention more efficiently, PMCLogic enables repair facilities to spend less time searching for missed charges and more time focused on repairs and customer service.
