R-M distributor RSB Auto and Industrial came out on top at this year’s industry awards ceremony hosted by the South African Motor Body Repairers Association (SAMBRA) and Lightstone. RSB Auto and Industrial won all the awards in the Paint Supplier category, including Overall Service Excellence, Best Product Support, and Best Training – at the prestigious event that was held in May this year. SAMBRA’s annual awards recognise top automobile insurers, OEMs, and paint and equipment suppliers. RSB Auto and Industrial CEO Warren Tollman says that R-M had previously been the recipient of these awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019, while 2020 saw the awards cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “It is a privilege and honour for our company to win these awards, especially because the information gathered during the judging process is collected by Lightstone directly from the panel shops,” said Tollman. “This shows that our industry values what we are doing, how we are supporting them with our service offering and how we are training our industry, which is what we strive for every day. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work from the entire team to achieve results like this.” SAMBRA, an association of the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI), represents the majority of motor body repairers in the country. SAMBRA says it focuses on creating and maintaining industry sustainability and development, and the annual awards are one of its flagship projects. “I would like to extend our congratulations to all our winners who continue to demonstrate excellence in their respective categories,” said Richard Green, National Director of SAMBRA. “Each one plays a vital role in our value chain, and I look forward to continuing discussions with each one so that together we can work towards creating a more robust and resilient industry.” [caption id="attachment_269" align="alignnone" width="1920"]
