South Africa’s cultural scene is set to come alive once again as Mahindra prepares to host the much-anticipated Fusion Fest in 2026. Announced at the Festival of Motoring, this vibrant showcase of art, fashion and music promises an even greater celebration than before.
The news was shared by television and music personality Nomuzi Mabena, popularly known as Moozlie, who has become an ambassador for Mahindra’s creative ventures.
The inaugural Fusion Fest in 2025 brought together an exciting mix of emerging artists and established stars. Rising talents shared the stage with some of South Africa’s most popular acts, including Cassper Nyovest, K.O., Matthew Mole, Mi Casa, Kamo Mphela and Aymos. Over 7 000 fans attended the event earlier this year, enjoying hours of performances and artistic displays.
For 2026, Mahindra has set the date for 7 March. “The Fusion Fest was also a gift from us to our more than 100 000 owners who have journeyed with us over the past two decades. We entered our third decade in South Africa with Fusion Fest to celebrate the youthful, dynamic rainbow nation and will continue to do so in 2026. Fusion Fest 2026 will be bigger, and we should also have built up roadshows in Durban and Cape Town,” says Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa.

To expand its reach, Mahindra will take the concept on the road with smaller events in Durban and Cape Town. These roadshows will capture the spirit of Fusion Fest while also discovering fresh talent for the main stage.
Mahindra’s vehicles featured strongly at the 2025 event, including the standout XUV 3XO Thula Sindi Edition, which turned heads with its unique styling. The company also celebrates a strong year of growth, firmly positioned among South Africa’s top ten best-selling brands.
