Audi Revolut F1 Team has officially ushered in a new chapter in its Formula One journey, presenting its refreshed identity and key partners at a launch event in Berlin.
Among the most significant announcements is Glasurit, the premium refinish paint brand of BASF Coatings, confirming its role as the exclusive paint supplier for the team as it prepares for its first race season in 2026.
Glasurit has created the dedicated Audi R26 coating using its advanced 100 Line system, a product range recognised for meeting the highest standards of eco-efficiency. According to BASF Coatings Vice President for Automotive Refinish EMEA, Roar Solberg, the 100 Line offers process times up to 40 per cent shorter than conventional alternatives. He notes that the partnership highlights the combined potential of absolute colour precision and highly efficient application solutions designed specifically for the demanding world of Formula One.
The appearance of the R26 reflects Audi’s design philosophy, which blends technical clarity with emotional impact. Working closely with the Audi Revolut engineering and design teams, Glasurit specialists applied the lightweight, low-VOC waterborne basecoat to deliver a finish that is both visually striking and engineered for performance.

The car itself showcases a distinctive Titanium Grey alongside exposed carbon fibre details and a vivid Audi Lava Red tone. Both colours have been uniquely formulated by Glasurit to ensure optimal consistency and durability. The finishes are safeguarded by Glasurit’s Ara Class Eco Balance Ccycled A-C-24 clearcoat, which incorporates raw materials sourced from end-of-life tyres in place of traditional fossil-based components. This contributes to a circular economy approach and results in a reduction of up to 40 per cent in CO₂ emissions per kilogram of product.
Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer of Audi Revolut F1 Team, emphasises that Glasurit’s commitment to precision, sustainability and design excellence aligns strongly with the team’s core values. He describes the new livery as a powerful expression of identity on the world stage and states that the collaboration enhances both the team’s competitive ambitions and its commercial platform ahead of the 2026 debut.
