After just one year in South Africa, DFSK is celebrating a successful start with growing dealer confidence, expanding model options and an eye firmly on the future with a move into the passenger car market.
“Our dealer network is constantly expanding. This growth reflects the confidence of our dealer partners and the increasing recognition of DFSK as a reliable, value-driven automotive brand in South Africa,” says Gina Giani, MD of DFSK South Africa.
DFSK has quickly carved out a niche in the commercial sector, offering a practical and affordable line-up for small business owners and fleet customers. Its range starts at R173 000 and includes both bakkies and panel vans designed to meet varied transport needs.
Among these, the C35 Panel Van offers a 5.1m³ payload for entrepreneurs, while the EC35 electric van delivers a range of up to 240km, making it ideal for urban logistics. The compact K01S Bakkie, capable of lifting 985kg, provides a sturdy option for tradesmen and delivery services.

In 2026, DFSK will broaden its offering with its first passenger vehicles, including the E5 Plus SUV and a double cab bakkie. The company also plans to add four-seater and double cab variants built on its proven C35 platform, showcasing a clear strategy for long-term growth.
To support customers, DFSK has upgraded its local head office into a modern facility and expanded its parts warehouse to ensure excellent after-sales support. The brand reports a warranty claim rate below 0.5%, reinforcing its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
With a three-year/60 000km warranty across its line-up, DFSK has established a firm foundation for future growth in South Africa’s competitive automotive landscape.
